Purpose

These accounts exist to:

  • Share legislative and policy updates

  • Provide district and community information

  • Communicate government services and resources

  • Engage with constituents, although not an official means of communication.

These accounts are not used for campaign or election activity.

Authorized Users

​Only designated staff may post or moderate content.

Content Standards

Allowed content includes:

  • Legislative and policy updates

  • Public service announcements and resources

  • Community event information

  • Constituent service information

Not permitted:

  • Campaign or fundraising content

  • Electioneering or candidate endorsements

Public Records

All posts and comments may be public records under Massachusetts law.

Comment Moderation

Comments may be removed if they:

  • Contain threats, hate speech, or harassment

  • Are off topic

  • ​Include spam or commercial advertising

  • Violate privacy or copyright

Accessibility

Efforts include alt-text, accessible formatting, and clear language.

Privacy

Personal data or images of minors will not be posted without parental consent.
