As Massachusetts' population ages, more residents are relying on home care services to remain safely and independently in their homes. While home care plays an increasingly important role in supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities, the Commonwealth previously lacked a comprehensive statewide licensure system for non-medical home care agencies.
